My story begins in a modest family, with rich and varied origins. My mother, from Guadeloupe, passed on to me her resilience and her love for simple things, while my father, of Senegalese origin, anchored in me a strong connection with Africa and its traditions. Born in France, I grew up in a unique cultural mix that shaped my vision of the world and influenced my creativity.

My youth was not easy. This context marked my childhood and pushed me to leave home very early to seek my independence.

This departure was an ordeal. I went through difficult times, even begging to get by. But these experiences shaped me, giving me a determination and resilience that I would never have imagined. I also traveled, especially to England, where I discovered an open-mindedness and a culture of style that deeply inspired me. There, materials, textures and self-expression through clothing take center stage. Being in an environment where people embrace their differences was a revelation for me, a validation of my own journey.

Since I was very young, I have always felt a light inside me, something different. But this light has not always been easy to carry. It has often aroused jealousy around me. My style, my personality, and this unique energy that I carried set me apart from others. Although it has sometimes been difficult, I understood that this difference was a strength, a driving force to create and move forward.

At school, I wasn’t the most focused student. Although I had the ability to learn, my mind was often elsewhere. I was captivated by art, creation, and anything that allowed me to express that inner light. While my classmates were working, I was already thinking of ideas, drawings, and visions that pushed me to dream bigger.

As I grew into adulthood, I made a radical decision: to break away from everyone I knew, including those so-called friends who brought me nothing positive. I chose to refocus on myself, to find myself alone, and to be patient in discovering who I really was. This process was long and sometimes painful, but it was necessary for me to find my path and the people who truly deserved to be a part of my life.

Becoming a chef introduced me to another aspect of creation: transforming simple ingredients into something beautiful and refined. This profession taught me discipline and the importance of details, lessons that remain with me today. At the same time, music has always been a great source of inspiration for me. Whether contemporary or traditional, it feeds my soul and influences the way I see the world and create.

But I traveled this path alone, or almost. I didn't receive much help, and everything I accomplished, I built thanks to my perseverance and my desire to turn my dreams into reality. These values are found today in Christophe Paul Dreyfus , a brand that is much more than just a clothing line.

Every piece I create is a reflection of my story, my roots and my experiences. It embodies my origins, my travels, and this light that has always inhabited me. With Christophe Paul Dreyfus , I want to show that by believing in yourself, working hard, and staying true to your values, it is possible to create something beautiful, lasting and deeply authentic.
